TUNIS - A total lunar eclipse is to occur on the night of Wednesday February 20 to Thursday February 21, announced on Wednesday the National Meteorology Institute (INM).

This lunar eclipse could be entirely seen in Tunisia, and also in North and South America, the Pacific Ocean region, Europe and Africa.

The INM is following this phenomenon through the spotting of the various stages of the eclipse at the Institute's premises, in association with the Nabeul-based meteorology station and the Youth-Sciences Association, so as to animate "The Moon Eclipse Evening," on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, starting from 8:00 p.m.

The lunar eclipse will be visible on Thursday February 21, 2008 starting from 02:45 p.m.
