Microsoft Tunisia launches windows 2008, SQL 2008 and “visual studio”

TUNIS - Microsoft-Tunisia, on Thursday, gathered Tunisian computer professionals in Tunis, on the launching of new Windows solutions Server 2008, SQL server 2008 and “Visual Studio 2008.”

 

The event was at the center of a press briefing held by general manager of Microsoft-Tunisia Salwa Smaoui, marketing manager Charles Nahas and manager at Microsoft-United States Kevin McCuistion.

Mrs. Smaoui said the launching of these three products represents a major stage to help Tunisian customers optimise their human resources and their computer technologies as part of a secure and a reliable platform.

For his part, Mr. Nahas pointed out that Tunisia represents one of the most important markets of the region in this field all the more that it has experienced a sustained growth rate.

A workshop was held, on this occasion, with the participation of 600 computer professionals and developers in order to enrich exchange with Microsoft experts and partners in this operation through the contribution of local computer companies.
