Participants in meeting of UN Advisory Committee of Local Authorities extend message to Head of State

TUNIS - Participants in the meeting of the United Nations Advisory Committee of Local Authorities, held on Tuesday in Tunis, expressed their consideration and gratitude to President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali, for the care he lavishes on cities’ development and for his judicious directives aimed to back municipal action.

They also praised, at a message extended to the Head of State, his keenness to provide Tunisian cities and their inhabitants with best services by generalising new technologies and encouraging decentralised co-operation in order to boost the sense of solidarity, fraternity and openness.
