Co-operation agreement between Tunisia and Djibouti

A co-operation agreement was signed, on Thursday, between the National Employment and Self-Employment Agency (ANETI) and Djibouti's National Employment, Training and Professional Integration Agency (ANEFIP).

TUNIS - A co-operation agreement was signed, on Thursday, between the National Employment and Self-Employment Agency (ANETI) and Djibouti's National Employment, Training and Professional Integration Agency (ANEFIP).

The agreement provides for reinforcing partnership between the two countries' employment services, notably regarding the job market administration and organisation. It also stipulates the implementation of programmes aimed to provide youths with employment and self-employment pportunities .

Employment and Professional Integration Minister Slim Tlatli expressed the department's will to boost bilateral co- operation in the field of private initiative promotion and to create projects for the benefit of youth, laying emphasis on the need to constantly follow up the development of the job market.

For his part, Mr. Moussa Ahmed Mohamed Hassan expressed the interest his country takes in developing co-operation with Tunisia in matters of dealing actively with employment and will to make the most of the Tunisian experience in this field.
