International forum on "Multilateral Co-operation Towards Building Knowledge-Based Society"

The Centre of Telecommunications Studies and Researches (CERT) is hosting next June 26 an international forum on "multilateral co-operation towards building knowledge society" with the participation of Tunisian and foreign high-level experts and specialists as well as representatives of international institutions in the field of information and communication technologies.

TUNIS - The Centre of Telecommunications Studies and Researches (CERT) is hosting next June 26 an international forum on "multilateral co-operation towards building knowledge society" with the participation of Tunisian and foreign high-level experts and specialists as well as representatives of international institutions in the field of information and communication technologies.

The holding of this important event is part of the Tunisian- South Korean co-operation.

This forum aims at studying the reality of bilateral co- operation and means to boost joint projects and contribute to the development of communication infrastructure and the activation of research and study projects.

This forum will encourage the creation of an efficient partnership between the public and private sectors in both countries and will help ensure a technological vigilance and stimulate investment and innovation in promising and high added value fields.

The forum's agenda includes conferences and workshops on knowledge-based society and the role of infrastructures in the promotion of economic competitiveness in addition to issues related to Internet and governance.

During the event, issues pertaining to public-private partnership, bilateral co-operation in addition to the presentation of several experiences on new applications and developed technological solutions, will be studied.

A "space of partnership" will be held on this occasion, containing the experiences of the different public and private institutions in order to enquire about the possibilities and prospects of co-operation and partnership in the fields of engineering, studies and researches, training and exchange of experiences.

An exhibition of products and solutions in the communication technologies field will be held on this occasion.
