Traffic accident kills two, injures eight south

Marrakech - Two people have been killed and eight were injured, including seven seriously, in a road accident in the region of Imintanoute, south of Marrakech.

   The accident occurred when a tractor-trailer collided with a light car and another tractor-trailer, before smashing a four-wheel drive vehicle, and finally diving into a ravine, local authorities said.

   Traffic accidents kill an average of 10 people a day, and cost Morocco 2.5% of the GDP, officials say.
