EU grants Morocco $ 100 mln to promote exports, contribute to Tramway project

Rabat - The European Union granted, on Friday, Morocco a donation of 771 million dirhams (100 million dollars) to promote investments and exports, and contribute to the financing of the Rabat-Salé tramway project

Rabat - The European Union granted, on Friday, Morocco a donation of 771 million dirhams (100 million dollars) to promote investments and exports, and contribute to the financing of the Rabat-Salé tramway project

    Worth 680 million dirhams, the first agreement which provides for supporting investments and exports in Morocco was signed by Economy Minister, Salaheddine Mezouar and Head of the Delegation of the European Commission in Rabat, Eneko Landaburu.

      Under the second agreement (totaling 91 million dirhams), the "Neighborhood Investment Facility" is to contribute to the financing of the Rabat-Salé tramway project. It was signed by Mezouar and general manager of the Bouregreg Valley Development Agency, Essakl Lemghari.
