King donates Senegal AIDS mobile medical unit
Endowed with modern equipment, the unit was delivered Tuesday by President of the Anti-AIDS Association (ALCS), Himmich Hakima, to the spouse of the Senegalese president and chairwoman of the association Education-Santé, Viviane Wade.
Speaking at the donation ceremony, Himmich stressed that the sovereign's gesture reflects the friendship ties between the monarch and the Senegalese president, Abdoulaye Wade, and between the peoples of Morocco and Senegal.
On this occasion, she also expressed her admiration for the militant commitment of Viviane Wade and the major achievements of the association Education-Santé.
For her part, Viviane Wade expressed her great gratitude to king Mohammed VI for this gesture of solidarity, which comes to consolidate the efforts of the association Education-Santé in the fight and awareness-raising against AIDS.
The spouse of the Senegalese president also hailed the friendship between King Mohammed VI and President Wade and the secular brotherhood between the Senegalese and Moroccan peoples.
