Prices of such a technology in Morocco are among the lowest, costing 18 dollars per month for 256kbit/s, the same source added, noting, however, that broadband internet price range remains high in Africa.

The report also underlined that the mobile telephony sector has witnessed unprecedented growth in Africa, challenging all predictions and turning the continent into a region witnessing the highest annual growth of mobile telephony subscribers.
