King lays foundation stone of a socio-educational center northeast
Izemmouren - King Mohammed VI laid, on Tuesday in Izemmouren, close to the northeastern city of Al Hoceima, the foundation stone of a socio-educational center, for an estimated cost of $ 138,000 and enquired about integrated development projects to be implemented by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
Built on an area of 1,200 square meters, the center is meant to be a space for promoting cultural activities for young girls and boys and contribute to their supervision towards a better social integration.
It includes an 80-place multipurpose room, a training workshop, a library, an IT room and medical facilities.
The Foundation will also build a training and qualification center for women in the rural commune of Izemmouren, for an estimated cost of $ 96,500.
The facility will provide training in sewing and literacy classes for women, preschool education for children under 6 (day-nursery) and health services.
