Yemen, Mauritania presidents and me peace process
President of Yemen Ali Abdullah Saleh and his Mauritanian counterpart Mu'weya Wild Sedi Ahmad al-Taye called for a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East and Israeli full withdrawal from all occupied Arab Lands including the Syrian Golan and Shaba'a Farms to June 4 1967 line.
The two presidents stressed in a joint statement published Tuesday evening at the end of their summit in Sanaa the importance of resumption of the ME peace process and the necessity of commitment to Madrid terms of reference based on the land-for-peace principle and the implementation of the UN resolutions 242 and 338.
