Moroccan décor appeal rediscovered, e-paper

Moroccan decor in the last couple of years has been re-discovered, and used to add a sensual appeal through art and colors to homes, according to an article posted on Monday in the Bulgarian website PR-GB.COM.

    Morocco has a rich cultural and historical heritage that exudes beauty through various forms of art, which are often seen as mysterious or magical, read the article adding that there is an increasingly huge interest in the Moroccan heritage to design trendy modern settings, thanks to the subtlety of the Moroccan décor and its "earthliness" in nature.

      Visiting Morocco gives you the opportunity to enjoy a rich cultural heritage made up of a mix of five ethnic groups, Arab, Berber, Islamic, African and Iberian.

     In spite of the influence of many European cultures, Morocco was able to keep its tradition, art and culture alive. For instance, "the traditional Moroccan house with a garden in the interior, known as Riad, has not changed for almost five centuries," underlined the website.

     Most of the Moroccan decor is created from a mix of "raw terracotta clay, with colors varying from the passionate red of the paprika spice to the intense blue of the Mediterranean and the shimmering yellow of the Sahara." It  noted.
