CTICI ordinary general assembly
TUNIS - The Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CTICI) held, on Thursday in Tunis, its 23rd ordinary general assembly.
On this occasion, the moral and financial reports were read out. The documents reviewed the Chamber's key programmes and activities carried out in 2007. CTICI chairman Laroussi Bayoudh evoked the development and diversification of the services the Chamber offered, as well as the programmes accomplished for the benefit of the Tunisian and Italian enterprises members of this structure, in addition to the 50-per-cent increase in the volume of the services provided to the enterprises in 2007, compared with 2006.
These activities and services mainly turned on sending of e-messages to Tunisian and Italian enterprises, as well as to economic operators, in order to make better known the business and partnership opportunities, and disseminating economic and financial information in the two countries.
They also focused on the organisation of training workshops and creation dialogue and partnership opportunities between the two countries' economic operators, the organisation of meetings, the participation in conferences, fairs and study and information days on investment opportunities, notably in the food industry sector.
