Morocco, Algeria to foster locust-fighting cooperation

Morocco and neighboring Algeria voiced resolve to foster joint efforts in their anti-locusts struggle.

This came at a meeting in Algiers, on June 29, between locusts experts from the two countries, who agreed on enhancing coordination in fighting the phenomenon, especially at their borders. They also recommended preventive action to be made next autumn.
