The Algerian security said on Sunday that three gunmen were killed in Ein al-Defli district, south west of the capital Algiers.

The Algerian news agency quoted a security source as saying that the three gunmen were killed in an ambush implanted by the security forces in al-Karma area in the district as they had arrived their to get food supplies.

This, however, came one day after publishing press news that talked about gunmen from al-Salafeyah group for fighting and the call of slaining two persons and kidnapping three others in the eastern parts of the country.

This very group had rejected the national reconciliation law which was approved by the Algerians one month ago, according to which the Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika decided to give general pardoning to those who were behind the massacres which claimed the life of more than 150,000 persons.

More than 70 persons were killed since the beginning of September in acts of violence in Algeria, according to calculations prepared according to officials figures.
