1st international potato show opens in Mostaganem

About one hundred producers from various European and Arab countries are taking part in the first international potato show, kicked off Wednesday in Mostaganem (355km west of Algiers).

MOSTAGANEM  - About one hundred producers from various European and Arab countries are taking part in the first international potato show, kicked off Wednesday in Mostaganem (355km west of Algiers). The, participants include foreign potato and potato seedlings producers from several countries, including Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Germany, Peru, Belgium, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, in addition to a number of local operators and farmers from various provinces, such as Ain Defla, El-Oued, Mascara, Mostaganem and Laghouat. The show is being held at the initiative of Agricultural Exhibitions Firm H.M. Communication, in coordination with the national chamber of agriculture and the province's agricultural services.
