Chakib Khelil in Argentina: Several cooperation projects expected

The working visit of Energy and Mines Minister Chakib Khelil to Argentina, started on Sunday, culminated in a minutes providing for several projects of cooperation and partnership in the fields of energy and Saharan agriculture, said Thursday a Ministry's statement. As regards the nuclear energy, it has been decided to promote the technical assistance and training for the development of activities in the nuclear plant of ''Nour'' in the locality of Draria (Algiers), and establishment of a training centre in nuclear engineering in Algeria.

ALGIERS - The working visit of Energy and Mines Minister Chakib Khelil to Argentina, started on Sunday, culminated in a minutes providing for several projects of cooperation and partnership in the fields of energy and Saharan agriculture, said Thursday a Ministry's statement. As regards the nuclear energy, it has been decided to promote the technical assistance and training for the development of activities in the nuclear plant of ''Nour'' in the locality of Draria (Algiers), and establishment of a training centre in nuclear engineering in Algeria. The two parties also agreed to export Algerian liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Argentina and examine opportunities of partnership between the State-run hydrocarbon company SONATRACH and the Argentina's oil firm ENARSA.
